  • 160 grams pasta
  • 200 grams shredded chicken or cubed chicken according to your choice
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 clove garlic
  • 1 tablespoon garlic finely chopped to enhance the taste
  • 1 onion finely chopped small onion
  • 350 grams tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon red chilli flake
  • ¾ pepper crushed properly
  • 3 pinches all spice powder to enhance the taste
  • salt according to your taste
  • ½ tablespoon herbs according to your taste

How to make chicken pasta recipe

  1. At first, you need to boil the water for the pasta. Take a large bowl and pour it rapidly boiling water. Add a pinch of salt and oil to for taste. Now, add the pasta and cook it al dente. Or you can also follow the instructions that have been written on the pack of the pasta. Once it is done, set it aside and drain it properly using a colander. 

  2. Now, it is the time to prepare the chicken. Take the chopped garlic and sauté them in hot oil along with the chicken. Add some salt and toss it properly. When it is properly cooked already, add a pinch of all spice powder and sauté them for good 2 minutes. 

  3. After setting aside the chicken, add hot oil in the pan and sauté some garlic again. Add onions and toss them until it gets all golden brown. Now, add the deseeded tomatoes into it and cook until the sauce gets a little thicker. 

  4. When it is done, add the sauté chicken to it and mix 3 tbsp of pasta cooked water to it. Mix and cook it properly until it thickens a little. After that, just add the pasta and cook for 3 or 4 minutes. If you wish, you can add some olive oil to it as well. And you are done. 


Being a simple recipe, chicken pasta does not have much recipe notes to be noted down. However, if you wish you can cook your pasta in the white sauce instead of the red sauce. Also, the adding of pasta water is completely optional.

To make chicken pasta healthier, you can add vegetables of your choice as well.

You can serve a bowl of pasta with bread toast or garlic bread because it tastes the best with it. Also, you can add a mint leaf on the top of the pasta and be done with it.
