General ingredients

  • 300g of chicken, preferably boneless
  • One egg white
  • 3 tbsp of corn flour
  • 1 tbsp of rice flour
  • Oil for the purpose of deep frying

Marinating the chicken

  • ½ tbsp of ginger-garlic paste
  • ¼ of turmeric
  • ½ tsp of red chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp of curd
  • ½ tsp of pepper powder
  • The salt according to your taste

Seasoning process

  • ½ tsp of cumin
  • ½ sprig curry leaves
  • ½ tsp of chopped garlic
  • 2 sliced green chillies
  • ½ tsp of pepper powder

Seasoning mixture

  • ¾ tsp of red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp of Sugar
  • 2 cloves
  • ¼ tsp of salt
  • 2 tbsp of thick curd or vinegar with water

How to make

How to make chicken 65

  1. At first, you need to wash the chicken well and dry it off using a drainer. To make your chicken soft, it is mandatory to marinate it overnight or at least for 1-hour minimum. Add all the ingredients from the marinating column, i.e. ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, 1 tbsp of thick curd, pepper powder, turmeric and salt. Mix it well and set it aside to prepare the seasoning mixture.

  2. Take a bowl and add all the ingredients from the seasoning column, i.e. sugar, red chilli powder, garlic paste, salt and curd. Add water to the bowl and set it aside. You can choose to use the white of egg as well.

  3. Now when the seasoning and marinating the chicken is done, heat oil in a pan and heat it properly. Add the chicken to the pan and fry it properly until it is fully golden. To drain out the excess oil, drain the fried chickens with a kitchen tissue.

  4. Once the chicken is done, you need to worry about the gravy. Add 1 tbsp oil to the same pan and add the curry leaves, green chillies and cumin seeds. Stir them a little to make it crispier. Next, add the seasoning mixture that we have prepared earlier in it. Turn the heat on a little and let it bubble for a few minutes. Now, add the fried chickens to it and toss it with the gravy properly. 

  5. Toss it until the raw smell of the garlic is gone and all the mixture is absorbed in the chicken properly. Do not over-fry it. And it is done.


1. The adding of egg white is not mandatory at all.

2. You can use 2 tbsp of vinegar with water if you do not feel adding curd.
